An opportunity to obtain some very well bred purple tag ewes 2 weeks off lambing. Ewes were purchased out of South Australia as maidens and are medium to large frame, 100% SIL to Tattykeel and Mt Bathurst Poll Dorset rams to commence lambing 28th August for 5 weeks. Ewes are Gudair vaccinated and were crutched and had a 5in1 and Tridectin in Mid July. Ewes were scanned at assessment and were too late in pregnancy to twin, however marked 148% lambs last year. These ewes are in fit healthy condition with 15 ewes mouthed showing full mouths, very few elongated or worn. Please note short delivery period, ewes will be yarded in a grassy holding yard on hay overnight before delivery.
