156 May/June 2014 Merino ewes, East Bungaree blood, November shorn 67.5 kgs . A quality line of well bred older Merino ewes scanned in lamb 100% to white Suffolk rams. 110 singles and 46 multiples. These ewes are medium to large frame, providing the successful buyer the opportunity to take advantage of spring lamb and mutton markets. Ewes present with light clover burr on bellies and legs. At assessment a percentage were mouthed with 64 % sound, 27% missing wing teeth and 9% broken. Rams went in of 7th December and were removed of February 15th for a 10 week joining. Scanning contractor has said that their may be a larger percentage of multiples due to joining period that were unable to be seen.

Ideal multi purpose ewes. If given the right treatment, will have plenty of lambs ,good wool cutters, have a frame left that can carry plenty of weigh if they were to be sold into the mutton trade. All dry ewes removed.
