Assessor Comments
Offering 158 Australian White Cross Ewes. They averaged 63.5kg live at assessment after a big curfew. The ewes are 3 to 7 years old but the majority are green tag 5 years and white tag 7 years old. The ewes are being sold as part of the Tocal flock dispersal and are all genuine breeders that have recently weaned lambs. Some of the older ewes are in lighter condition after weaning lambs and would need some time to pick up before joining again. Overall this is a handy mob of mixed age ewes that have been great breeders for the Tocal flock and the majority of the ewes could be rejoined to raise another lamb on the right feed. Please note there are another 3 lots of sheep for sale at Tocal on Auctions Plus that may help with transport.

Generally these ewes are genuine shedding sheep with some variance in coats carried at assessment. There is the odd ewe with more cover that hasn't shed as well over the back. Please see photos.

Stock History
These ewes are a mixture of purchased in sheep 50% and vendor bred 50%. The purchased ewes mainly white tags were purchased in from a local property and are predominately Aus White/White Dorper Cross with the remainder vendor bred.
Grazing Conditions
Ewes are grazing on a large stand of hayed off Mitchell grass with surrounding timbered country with left over summer annuals.
