Assessor Comments
Here presents an opportunity to secure yourself some thumping SA Mallee ewes. They are plain bodied, large framed and have a power of first cross lambs sired by "Days" White Suffolks on them. The ewes were shorn in October 24' where the cut 6kgs at 22 micron. The ewes then had a pre-lambing crutch and all health treatments to support them heading into lambing. The vendor is fastidious with the management of his stock and consequently the ewes are in very good order due to the supplementary feeding of Lucerne Silage, Barley in feeders with a buffer pellet and Upper SE loose lick. The ewes are obviously milking very well as the lambs are very fresh and sappy looking and gaining weight rapidly. At marking the ewes were checked all over including udders where any abnormalities and drys were removed for the buyers confidence. In summary these ewes in the prime of their life, highly productive and have had everything thrown at them to ensure they can reach their maximum productive potential.
