East Bungaree blood. Ewes are generally easy care, plain bodied types with good frontal development for increased wool production. Ewes would be ideal dual purpose XB lamb producers.

100% of ewes mouthed, with only 2 Red tag ewes found to have broken mouths, which were removed from the mob at assessment. Ewes are being offered as GSM, Red, Blue & Black tag ewes demonstrating wear consistent with age drop. See photos of mouths

A good line of mixed-aged East Bungaree bld, station bred ewes ready for an immediate joining. These ewes were purchased in April ‘21, in store condition, with lambs at foot & running back with the same rams, ex AuctionsPlus as part of a genuine flock dispersal of Gumpark Station, Broken Hill. Ewes successfully raised near 100% of lambs at foot despite coming out of drought conditions North of Broken Hill, at the time, which is testament to the fertility & maternal instincts of these ewes. Ewes were preg scanned on 25/5/21 to determine the pregnancy status from the continued joining at Gumpark Station. This mob represents the ewes that were back in lamb at time of purchase. July/Aug drop Lambs were weaned on the 18/11/21 & ewes have since freshened up nicely, presenting in ideal condition for Joining now. Ewes are mostly large frame, with only a small % of medium frames in the mob. Older ewes are GSM, and possess the freshness of mouth & constitution to easily raise another lamb.

Fresh supple pelts, with well nourished, healthy pink skins. 3 ewes noticed with uneven wool from old fly-strike.

Clean, bright white wool, with well defined crimp and very minimal dust penetration. Some of the ewes sampled for skin show minor water staining from wet conditions through Spring. Good length in the jacket with most ewes measuring 58-60mm mid-back.
