Assessor Comments
330 ewe lambs to be offered as a run out the gate of two even lines of 165 head. Vendor has been breeding 1st x ewes for a number of decades. Sired by quality St Helena Border Leicester Rams and bred out of western bred merino ewes showing good length of body. These ewe lambs have responded well since shearing but have only had access to grass country up until assessment and for this reason only present in fresh forward store condition. Ewe lambs are generally true to type and given the opportunity should grown into nice ewes in the future. Previous purchasers of these ewes have had very good results in producing prime lambs. Large percentage of these ewe are late July to September drop with a small percentage June drop, of those mouthed at assessment 6 were breaking teeth or had 2 teeth up. Up to date with animal health. Note a white Suffolk stag was removed at assessment that had been with these ewes since 17th June.
