A neat run of 166 rising 4 year old classed-in Poll Merino breeding ewes that are SIL to Suffolk rams due to start lambing mid March over 6 weeks. Ewes were scanned in at 120% to number of ewes scanned. These August shorn ewes present in a forward store condition and have a medium to large frame which is typical of the South Australian Mallee bred merino. Vendor generally sells as 4.5 year olds in the Karoonda or Pinnaroo off shear sales year in year out and consistently attracts repeat buyers. This is a very attractive article with a good rebate on their backs, vendors wool tests average 19 micron and generally average 7.5kg of fleece weight. Vendor only selling due to a change in operations and has done an outstanding job at presenting the ewes this year.
