Assessor Comments
Only being offered due to vendors change of breeding program & farm management otherwise would of been retained as main breeding ewes. Ewes have recently been crutched & present in strong store condition as they are putting everything into their sappy lambs at foot. Bloodlines worth noting - Ewes by Retallack B/L rams & lambs sired by predominately Pindari W/S rams & an estimated 20% by Spring Flat Poll Dorset rams. ewes were shorn 24/1/24 then drenched & vaccinated, also treated with flexolt oral on 24/1/24 as a preventative. Lambs are not marked & were not tagged at time of assessment as vendor is awaiting tags arrival in the post. A real opportunity for potential purchasers to secure young, quality, fertile ewes with sappy 2ndx lambs at foot to either keep as breeders or to fatten lambs & do a fat lamb trade then retain or on sell the ewe. NOTE: Lamb count was at time of assessment, foxes have been sighted in the area so this may alter number of lambs delivered.
