THIS REPRESENTS A LINE OF THE WATERBAG STATION BRED EWES BEING SOLD DUE TO A CHANGE IN BREED DIRECTION. THE VENDOR BRED EWES ARE GLEN HOLME DOHNE & MULLOORIE MERINO BLD. THE BALANCE ARE BOUGHT OFF VARIOUS PROPERTIES FROM SOUTH AUSTRALIA. THEY ARE JOINED TO THE RAMSAY PARK & HARRYS WELL WHITE SUFFOLK RAMS. THEY WERE SCANNED 100% & MULTIPLES HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED. THEY HAVE BEEN TERRIFIC MOTHERS DISPLAYING PLENTY OF FRAME & DOING ABILITY. LAMBS FROM THESE EWES IN THE PAST FEW YEARS HAVE BEEN GROWN OUT TO 28-32kg dw ON PASTORAL COUNTRY. NOTE THAT THERE IS APPROX 16% UNMULSED OFF THE SAMPLE WEIGHED, BUT HASN’T BEEN AN ISSUE. THERE IS ALSO THE YOUNGER SISTERS IN THE SALE TO HELP WITH FREIGHT & PUT A GOOD LINE OF PASTORAL EWES TOGETHER TO GIVE A GOOD RETURN IN THE SPRING.
