Assessor Comments
Offering 710 hd of 3.5-4.5 yr old composite ewes SIL to Yarram Park maternal sires. These ewes are predominantly large framed with approx 10% medium framed but still carrying a heavy 70kg low weight at assessment. This consignment has averaged a solid 84kg after a big 24 hour lock up and they are not overdone. Ewes were purchased in as one line as the result of a loss of lease and were originally selectively purchased as maidens for a self replacing composite program. There are 5 marks identified at assessment with 17% purple tag 2020 drop and the balance green tag 2019 drop. They have joined up exceptionally well with in excess of 73% carrying multiples (singles and twins identified with siro marks). To be offered as 4 X 178hd delivered as a ROTG with an even split of multiples per consignment. Big productive proven breeders joined to large framed Yarram Park sires for an early winter lambing with a power of progeny on board. Should you require any additional information please call.

Stock History
Ewes have been purchased out of the Western district of Victoria. They were originally purchased as maidens and entered into a self replacing composite flock. They were purchased due to the loss of a lease block and having to be sold.

Grazing Conditions
Ewes have been running on canola stubbles with sprayed out dry feed along with a germination of winter species. Paddocks have been providing well for the ewes.
