Opportunity knocks!! These ewes are straight out of the heart of the Narcoota Poll Merino stud as surplus young ewes and offer the purchaser the opportunity to secure some very sound, quality poll Merino genetics. Narcoota Poll merino stud have been a successful stud for the past 40 years and last year concluded there last year as a stud. These ewes are paddock run near Eudunda, and are bred for medium micron white crimpy fleece and heavy wool cutting ability. The flock is bred using quality rams from the Narcoota stud and these genetics are flowing through into the younger ewes on offer here. These ewes will mature into deep bodied breeding ewes that already have very good structure and bone, equally suitable for terminal lamb production as well as self replacing Merino operation or a first cross breeding operation. They are plain bodied and very fertile sheep with the flock average this year being 125% lambs born. Theses ewes should be bought with confidence.
