Assessor Comments
Front paddock ewes. Not station mated merino ewe lambs and hoggets. These ewes have not had a setback and are impeccably presented ready to be mated to the sire of your choice. They weighed 55-90kg at assessment to average over 68kg. The dams were purchased as classed in breeders SIL in early 2020 from WA and are Anglesey and Cranmore blood. They are large framed wheat belt bred ewes as is evident in the weight, shape and stand up of these yearlings. They tested 18.6 mic at shearing in June. These ewes are the tops of the drop and were grown out specifically to sell in the spring. A 15% tail was removed at shearing and sold. The wether lambs from the same drop topped the Wagga fat sale in July. These ewes have it all displaying depth, length and stand up and will produce quality lambs regardless of the sires used.
