Assessor Comments
Presented is a nice line of 180 SIL Merino Ewe hoggets. Averaging 63Kg at assessment, these young ewes have continued to mature into a good article of maiden ewes joined to Kerin Poll Merino rams for a mid September - November lambing. Ewes were joined for 8 weeks. 13-14months of age, these ewes are out of Barloo bred WA Merinos. Ewes are crutched and wigged and have been drenched and vaccinated and have also been dipped. Ewes are not mulesed. February shorn, 2.5” to 3” of wool. These ewes show great depth and structure and will continue to grow out into ideal, fertile young breeders. A great opportunity to secure a well bred article of young maiden merino ewes SIL at 128% to Kerin Poll Rams for a spring lambing.
