Assessor Comments
An excellent line of 21 Drop yellow tag medium to large frame, JAN shorn, Watervalley (SA) & Cresline blood merino ewes, SIL 100% from 2- 3.8 months to Glenalvie Border Leicester rams. These young ewe Hoggets (2-4 teeth) present in fresh store to forward store/prime condition. 540 to be offered in 3 lots 180 run out the gate scenario. These ewes were purchased as 20kg E/L in sept 21 which have been given the time & animal health treatments to let grow/develop into medium but predominantly large frame merino ewes. Last years flooding created great difficulty with being able to join ewes so this will be their first lambing. Young quality breeding merino ewes are the future of the wool industry in which these have the genetics to succeed in any intended management program given the correct nutrition. Note: 2% of ewes assessed displayed ewe horn/scur & 5% displayed old fly scarring in wool but not deemed detrimental. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE.
