Assessor Comments
A good quality line of merino ewes, good medium to large frame, in strong store order. They are scanned in lamb to Lambpro poll Dorset rams to commence lambing mid April for six weeks. This mob was identified by the scanner as all carrying singles. Good honest station bred ewes that have reared a lamb every year, and were mouthed and bagged just prior to joining. 30 ewes were mouthed at assessment, the majority GSM, 3 with a side tooth missing, 1 broken mouth(see photos). There are 1100 ewes scanned as singles, to be offered as 2 lots of 370 and 2 lots of 180, a run out the gate. This lot is part of a whole age group of 1580 ewes being offered in today’s sale.
