186 Aug drop 22 ewe hoggets. 560 in total split into 3 lines. These ewes did not see a ram at the start of this year, due to the wet conditions they just didn't get up to joinable weights. The vendors have been using PrimeLine rams now for 6 years, no expense is spared when it comes to ram selection. Every year ewes are classed on structure and performance, anything not meeting the requirements are killed. Each year the flocks conception is around 170% and wean approx 140%-148% pa. High quality ewes that were intended to remain on the property however due to seasonal conditions and carrying capacity they are to be sold. They are a bit short in the leg carrying plenty of condition, given time they will grow into heavy low maintenance ewes. The adult flock is a consistent type and is one of the more even composite flocks I see. The adult ewes are around 80kg.
