A top quality line of Merino ewe hoggets, 16-17 months old. The complete drop of "West Ooma" ewe hoggets are on offer in this sale in 2 lines. These young ewes come from a well established self-replacing flock on SRS-type Yarong blood for many years, with only rams introduced. The "West Ooma" flock is highly productive, with mature ewes cutting 3.6kg of 18.5-19 micron wool every 6 months. These ewes were shorn with 9 months growth testing 17.5 micron. They are also Gudair vaccinated and non mulesed. These ewes are starting to do after enduring a wet & muddy winter, and would be ideal to join in coming months. They present a very rare opportunity to purchase a complete drop of productive young ewes with their whole lives ahead of them. Noted the odd ewe with longer toes due to the soft country.
