Assessor Comments
A quality line of young ewes being sold as a run of the gate over 2 lots of 190 (assessed as whole mob of 380). That are bred from large framed North Ashrose blood Merino ewes, sired by top Dunnield Border Leicester rams. These ewes are predominately large framed with a small percentage of medium frames. A tail was taken out of the mob to leave a neat 380 even type ewes. Scanned empty by Tony Walsh on the 4th of October. When shorn great care was taken to ensure no teats were cut. The Brien family meticulously look after their sheep and even with trying wet seasonal conditions these ewes have grown out very well for their age are are in top health ready to join and start their life as breeders of the future. *Note* A small percentage of ewes have small ewe horns/scurrs. See photos for example.
