A good quality line of 1.5 year old SIL FX ewes, scanned 110% in lamb to NARRANMORE Poll Dorset rams, to start lambing early April. Ewes are being offered as 2 lines of 199 head to accommodate most buyers & will be split out the gate, with the twinners distributed evenly.. Normally retained as replacement breeders, however with a run of consecutive good years, breeding numbers have been replenished. Ewes are presenting in very fresh condition overall, & are well bred & true to type. This mob offers buyers a great opportunity to put together 2 or 4 decks of quality young SIL FX ewes, with a lifetime of production in front of them, set to lamb out top quality second cross suckers, & capitalise on a long overdue, more boisterous lamb markets. Approx 4% of ewes sampled in the mob are displaying full udders from having their first lamb from a chance joining last year, recently weaned off. The vast majority of the mob are maidens, in lamb to their first lamb.
