THIS IS THE COMPLETE DISPERSAL OF THE RENOWNED BEN LOMOND STN "COPPOCK" FAMILY BREEDING FLOCK. THE FLOCK IS NOTED FOR ITS HIGH FERTILITY WEANING 132% OF LAMBS TO EWES JOINED OVER 8 YRS, LARGE WOOL CUT 5.8KG OVER 12MTH (2 SHEARINGS) ALSO THE DUAL PURPOSE QUALITIES OF A EWE THAT CAN BREED A LAMB THAT WILL FATTEN FOR THE PRIME LAMB MARKET. THE FLOCK WAS EST IN 1996 ON "BRAESIDE" AS A LARGER SELF REPLACING MERINO OPPERATION UNTIL 2016, THEN AFTER THE PURCHASE OF BEN LOMOND STATION THE FLOCK WAS MOVED DOWN THE THE ROAD TO CONTINUE PRODUCING A HIGH STANDARD MERINO OPERATION. THE EWES HAVE BEEN HEAVILY CLASSED OVER A NUMBER OF YEARS. OTHER PRACTICES ON THIS PROPERTY ARE THEY CEASED MULESING IN 2003 AND HAVE RESPONSIBLE WOOL STANDARDS ACCREDITATION.
