Assessor Comments
Here is a line of Merino ewes, mixed age (see age break-up above). Ewes were purchased on AuctionsPlus in 3 lines, however one line contained numerous marks. The ewes are SIL at 141% to White Suffolk rams to commence lambing in early March. Ewes display some variation in frame and wool length between the different marks, however the majority of ewes display good frame. Ewes were mouthed prior to joining and any broken mouths were removed. A line of ewes scanned with a good percentage of lambs, ideal to lamb down, shear and fatten for the mutton market. Noted approx. 5 ewes with scur/light horn.
