A very good quality line of FX maiden ewes scanned 141% in lamb to GILMORE Poll Dorset, & KURRAVIEW White Suffolk rams. These future breeders were purchased ex Auctionsplus & privately in August last year as 3 separate lines of FX mixed sex lambs. The wether portions were fattened & sold into trade markets, & these future breeders represent the combined ewe portion, which have been grown out & joined, developing into heavy, large framed, breeders which will start to lamb in approx 8 weeks, producing a large percentage of top quality 2nd cross lambs with export weight potential. Bred from large framed Merino ewes, & sired by DARJEELING & RANGOON B/L rams, they present as very even, true to type, stylish ewes, & despite carrying 3 marks (predominantly 2) prove very difficult to spot the difference between the combined mobs. 1 ewe with scurs & 1 ewe with small black spot on lower jaw in the mob. Post-breeder EID tags have been administered for management data. Ewes come highly recommended
