Prime lamb breeders, here is a great opportunity to secure a quality line of young western bred Border Leicester x Merino first cross ewe lambs and hoggets which are SIL to Poll Dorset rams. Ewes comprise of 3 marks, purchased ex Warren and Trangie districts. They are off shears and scanned in lamb at 118% to Ridgehaven and Goonigal Poll Dorset rams, to commence lambing in the 3rd week of October. Ewes show good frame for their age and should continue to grow out. There is a total of 414 ewes in the mob (18% tail removed), to be offered in 2x lots of 207 head. Twin bearing ewes are marked with a green dot on the rump and will be distributed evenly between the 2 lines if sold separately. Rare opportunity to secure quality young ewes already SIL and ready to start producing for you. Please note there was 176 ewes assessed from the whole mob of 414 head.
