Annual offering account of ROCKLYN MERINOS GREENETHORPE NSW, an outstanding run of 416 NSM Merino Ewe Hogget's to be offered as 2 lines of 208 ewes. Ewe Hogget's are a July/August 2024 Drop averaging 52.5KG at assessment. A tail of 10% was removed from this line of ewes at assessment. Rocklyn Merinos has over 80 Years of adaptive breeding behind their program & annually offer their surplus ewe hogget's over Auctions Plus, with extremely positive feedback over the last 5 years. Rocklyn breeds dual purpose merinos focusing on fertility, wool cut, fiber diameter, and early growth rate with plain bodies and an ability to handle weather extremes. Ewes had an estimated 12 Month wool clip of 6.7Kg, Ewes fleece weight at 7 Month shearing was 3.9KG, with a 17.6 micron. Ewes are light wrinkled sheep with open heads. Rocklyn's program is a CLOSED FLOCK. Ewe's that present in good condition to join through Autumn. A line of Young Merino Ewes backed by exceptional quality and proven genetics!!!
