These ewe lambs represent the entire drop of ewe lambs from the Koepang superfine flock dispersal. The Koepang flock was based on a Merryville ewe flock originally purchased off the merryville stud at Boorowa. In recent years only top quality Rams and semen from Merryville, Merrignee, Wurrook & Grassycreek studs have been used to breed the Koepang rams. Outstanding medium frame robust superfine merino ewes that last year averaged 6.1kg wool cut at 16.3-17.1 micron. Ewes produce a very stylish well defined superfine crimp with plenty of nourishment, that is always sought after by Italian wool buyers. The Koepang flock has never had lice or itchmite. Tail end lambs have been removed.
