Young White Dorper ewes rising 2 years with 100 lambs at foot marked and tagged. Ewes were purchased July 2020 as not detectable. 45 lambs were born prior to December 2020 (purple tag) Rams were put in 16/8/20 to 13/9/20 ewes had 55 lambs from that joining (yellow tags) Dorper rams in 29/3 to 4/6/21 to join for spring lambing. Ewes have been subjected to a challenging worm burden over the wet summer, vendor has put in place a worm test and drench strategy to now believe the sheep are doing well, last egg count was 92. Ewes and lambs received a Startect on 4th June 2021. These sheep are trained to cell graze behind electric fences and were easy to handle through the draft and weighing process for this assessment, no dogs were needed. Buyers note there are some tan coloured heads in this mob. Ewes and lambs are running on light country with tall native grasses, they will respond well to a higher protein diet such as improved pastures or crop. Plenty of upside here, buy with confidence
