220 Merino ewe weaners, June/July 2020 drop, March shorn, Ridgeway Advance blood, “Cuthchie” bred. 2nd draft of merino ewe lambs off “Cutchie” at Hopetoun. Young merino ewes showing their excellent breeding and quality despite a tough autumn and winter season. Renowned southern Mallee ewes from the Hallam family at Hopetoun that are usually sold at Wycheproof in the spring but being sold now due to the tight season. Ridgeway Advance blood sheep that will continue to grow out into large frame, plain bodied ewes suitable for joining to Merino or British breed rams. Small % of tails drafted out of mob prior to assessment. Note: 424 tops of the mob, in 2 lines of 212, also in this sale. Gives purchasers the opportunity to buy 2,4 or 6 decks of classy Merino ewes.
