Assessor Comments
Top quality line SIL mixed age merino ewes that are medium to predominately large frame and present in strong forward store to mainly forward condition. Joined to Springwaters Poll Dorsets and scanned at 153%. They are bred from a large highly regarded flock focusing on genetic improvement and a non mulesed standard. All ewes have been SIL annually with drys removed. Plain bodied ewes that have produced each year and cut a stylish fleece. SIL lamb with twins and singles identified to commence lambing late march for 5 weeks. Ewes are very well grown for their age and will continue to mature if given the opportunity. Please view video to appreciate the quality of these young ewes. Please note approx 5% have slightly longer toes due to good seasons experienced. Vendor has another line of 296 ewes on the same farm with a total offering 1050 ewes across two farms in this sale.
