A nicely presented draft of Merino wethers presenting in forward store to prime condition. Wethers are well grown, just on verge of cutting 6 tooth, with most still 4 tooth, being June/July 2019 drop. They are on the do having come through an unseasonally wet spring. Shorn three months ago, they have had a recent drench. The Strathallan operation has been sourcing genetics from Firgrove & Gelton Merino studs for a number of years, producing medium to large frame, plain bodied merinos cutting around 5kg fleece wool at around 18 micron. A smart line of well grown, healthy, young wethers to take on as wool cutters or to take on to heavy export markets.
