Prime lamb breeders, on offer is a quality line of first cross ewes, SIL at 161% to Poll Dorset rams. These ewes are 3 to 5 years old (approx. age break-up above) and were all purchased by the vendor on AuctionsPlus as ewe lambs ex western NSW and Queensland. They are proven breeders, showing good frame. Ewes are SIL at 161% to Ridgehaven and Goonigal Poll Dorset rams to lamb from the start of August for a tight 4 week period. There are a total of 450 ewes on offer, to be sold in 2x lots of 225 head each. Ewes will be drafted on delivery and the single/twin bearing ewes divided equally between each lot. These ewes are only being offered for sale due to a change in direction for the vendor. A great opportunity to purchase quality ewes with a big percentage of lambs on board, shorn and ready to lamb down. Noted approx. 3 ewes with light horn. Also please note 142 head assessed out of 450 head total.
