A good line of mixed age merino ewes majority 4-6 year olds, July shorn, Mumblebone blood, scanned 100% in lamb to Marocara Poll Dorset rams for a tight 6 week joining. Out of the assessed mob of 93 head, there was 40 purple tag 2020 drop, 27 yellow tag 2021 drop, 26 red tag 2022 drop. 5 of the 2020 drop ewes in the mob were mouthed and all had sound mouths. These are classed ewes that have been bred out of the self replacing Mumblebone blood flock, where rams are carefully selected on high indexed figures at the annual Mumblebone Ram sale.. They will be offered as 2 lots of 225 head with age groups distributed evenly. Vendor will also offer 200 same age ewes SIL twin bearing ewes in the same sale a great opportunity to put 650 ewes together. These ewes are good frame forward condition ideal to lamb down late spring.
