Assessor Comments
Final Stage Dispersal of the Pilgrim Dohne Flock. Offering a line of 235 Dohne ewes, May/June 2021 drop. These ewes are February shorn and have been tail stripped. This line of ewes are good medium frame and present in store to forward condition. Ewes were depastured to 5% Poll Dorset rams from 15/02/23 to 11/04/23 and were SIL 100% on the 19/05/23. Note ewes were only wet and dry at scanning with all the dry ewes removed from this sale mob. At shearing this line of ewes were detected to have lice, but they have been backlined with Avenge offshears. The backline appears to have put light scaring on a small % of ewes down their bakcs. Has lifted off the skin but is still noticeable on a few sheep. Only selling as the family are moving into a different direction with sheep and cropping.
