Annual sale of the Vandeleur young ewes. There’s a ton of breeding here, with these being the lead draft of the surplus hoggets. They are an even line, presenting in a store to forward order and have all the genetic make-up to grow into the large, long bodied sheep the family are so well known for. Rices Creek rams go to all parts of the country, such is their suitability across different areas and these ewes will thrive (given the right feed) just about anywhere.
Bio-security is also a plus here with the ewes holding their MN3 status.
Whilst these ewes had a tough start due to the season, they are really on the do now and have got a fresh bloom about them.
