Assessor Comments
A neat run of Merino ewe maiden out of the renowned Merani Park flock. Ewes present in forward condition and have freshened up well since shearing and some good rain. Only being sold due to being surplus to requirements and are annually sold to many repeat buyers. Ewes would be a welcome addition to any wool growing enterprise or to join for a medium/large framed crossbred lamb production. The Merani Park flock is annually classed and dry ewes removed keeping fertility and structure sound throughout. Ewes are OJD vaccinated (18+ years) and mulesed. These ewes cut 4.9kgs at 8.5 months of 17.1 mincron and the adult flock average between 17.8 and 18.5 micron. Langdene rams are selected for wool cut, wool quality and structure. These maidens are just cutting teeth now with small portion (10%) of mob mouthed found to have 1 or 2 teeth up.
Please note: Agent can arrange freight to Riverina with weekly market trucks to Wagga. Small tail (2%) removed at assessment.
