Most ewes mouthed were hoggets with the remaining lambs they had either lost a tooth or had permanent incisors coming up but not in use. I would imagine there will be less lambs at delivery.

On offer is aa quality line of young Poll Merino ewes with 60 years of breeding Polls behind them. These ewes rarely hit the open market as they have been sold to a repeat buyer for a number of years now. 16-17 months old, Aug shn, mlsd, NSM, dipped and Vacc. All the work is done before they are joined to the ram of your choice. The vendor selects sheep with good body depth that are well covered with a bright white gutsy wool with good nourishment. Adult flock cut 6.6kg of 19.3mic fleece and marked 111% of lambs. Ewes have gone ahead in leaps and bounds since shearing. Noticed 3 ewes with scurs due to throw back to horn genetics in Poll Merino rams. Ewes will continue to grow out nicely if given the opportunity as the older ewes come in at approx 70kg avg. A great opportunity to get into some well-bred Poll Merino ewes. At assessment ewes had a weight range of 44-64kg to avg 52.9kg. Quality ewes with plenty of years in front of them.

Good clean healthy pink skins. Any shearing cuts seem to have healed and ewes are doing well.

Wool is a little short to make a full assessment of it. But for the wool there it is a clean white bright staple with plenty of nourishment and a bold gutsy crimp.

Bred out of a classed self-replacing Merino flock using Weealla Poll on-property auction rams. Ewes are classed annually by Stuart McBurnie. Flock is selected for heavy cutting sheep while maintaining a good productive skin that and good fertility.

Hakrumun have been breeding Poll Merinos for 3 generations and buy out of the top end of the Weealla Poll Merinos at their annual sale.

Native and improved pastures with plenty of clover & Rye grass. Some Barley grass in the paddock also.

Annual sell off of ewes that are surplus to our requirements. Larger classed out this year due to good weaning % in recent years. Very happy with how these ewes have done since shearing.
