Quality line of Station Mated 2016 and 2017 drop Merino ewes, joined to commence lambing early March. Relatively even line of good frame ewes, in light store to slightly forward store condition. Based on assessed group consist of approximately 60% 2017 drop and balance 2016.Joined to Wendouree Blood Merino rams for 6 weeks. November shorn and only offered as Estate being wound up. Honest breeding ewes with a further two lots also offered this sale. Been running on fresh pasture throughout joining so expect to have mated well as in past years. Wool tests attached to assessment with a flock average of 18.4 micron and high yielding wool types. Percentage of ewes with long toes and on first appearance softer in feet but seem to still move well. Udders not checked unless obvious with sample mouthed in race and a small % of black tags starting to appear broken. Not presented as GSM but sample appeared reasonable for age. Copy of wool tests attached to Docs.
