A quality line of Vendor bred SIL 4.5yo ewes. These are a neat even line of vendor bred ewes out of a good breeding operation. These ewes would suit either a self replacing operation or terminal program going forward. The Chelwood flock is well known for their plain easy care poll merino ewe which is very productive both with low micron wool and plenty of lambs. These ewes have scanned up exceptionally well to Suffolk rams with a foetus scanning rate at 142% and is testament to their breeding. These ewes are OJD approved vaccinates. A great opportunity to purchase a strong line of large frame SIL ewes in good condition and still have a few breeding years ahead of them. To be sold as 2 Lots of 267 hd. (534 in total). 8-10 Green tag ewes in the line, can be removed before trucking at buyer’s request. Total mob size is 534, if sold two ways at 2 x 267hd each, equal split of singles (306) & multiples (228) at delivery.
