A worthy line of Jelbart Pastoral bred Polwarth ewes, freshly shorn, treated with Flexolt, and drenched for your peace of mind.
The Polwarth breed was developed by crossing Merino and Lincoln sheep, then line-bred to a fixed type of ¾ Merino and ¼ Lincoln. The result is a dual-purpose, plain-bodied sheep with minimal wrinkle, easy to care for and well-suited to a range of operations.
Polwarth's are known for their docile nature and their ability to produce an open, even, soft, white, high-yielding fleece in the 20–24 micron range. One of their standout qualities is their exceptional maternal ability, superior mothering instincts and excellent milk production, leading to higher weaning percentages.
These ewes are no exception, having thrived in the current strong season. They present an ideal opportunity to join to a terminal sire, Merino, or Polwarth and experience the proven quality and versatility of the breed. Polwarth = wool, lambs & $ in the bank
