OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS!!!
540 BL/EF/Mer, WS/BL/Mer & Composite ewes to be offered as 2 runs out the gate of 270. They are a mix of rising 3,4,5,6 & 7 years. Scanned in lamb to South Suffolk rams at 168% to commence lambing in August for 5 weeks. At assessment, 100 ewes were ran up the race & mouthed finding 17 ewes to be broken to varying degrees. Some ewes were only missing a wing tooth or showed some spacing, however a very small percentage of ewes were extremely worn & had very few teeth left (see photos). I have no doubt that the older ewes will be able to rear a lamb this year with the majority of them being able to go around for many years to come.. Ewes will be reserved at $163!!
