One wether was found to have cut two teeth with the majority of them spreading.
Assessor Comments
Offering 270 Merino Wether lambs and hoggets. The wethers averaged 40kg live at assessment after an 8 hour curfew. The majority of the wethers are march shorn with 30mm average wool and a small number of unshorn lambs that have 40mm wool. The wethers are bred from Barcaldine Downs bloodlines for many years and show good growth and wool characteristics. The wethers would suit a trade option or to carry on as woolgrower wethers with a good start on their jacket and plenty of compensatory weight to put on, after doing it tough in the recent heavy rain. Please note at assessment there were two wethers sighted with a black mark on the ear and some light scale seen on the ears of some wethers. Also noted was that some of the lambs showed signs of recovering from scabby mouth. Also note that their are another two mobs of sheep from the same vendor in this sale.

Generally these wethers displayed good quality bright white wools with minimal dust penetration. There were some ewes with drier wool types with less style. Also there are approx 10 lambs in the mob that are unshorn younger lambs.
