272 Merino ewes, rising 2.5yo to 5.5yo. November shorn, mulesed and crutched. Ewes are Dunbogan and Allandale blood. Medium (60%) to large (40%) frame, presenting in a strong but store condition. ewes have had a tight 6-week joining to good quality Avoca & Loch Lomond Border Leicester sires and have scanned 138% in lamb with 103 showing multiples (green dot on rump) and 169 singles (blue dot on rump) to commence lambing first week of July.
Ewes are principally younger to middle aged (in their prime) with only 25% of the offering aged 5.5yo.
Vendor admits season has been too good and hence haven't done as well as last year's sale lot weighing in at 58kg.
Vendor has udder crutched for a cleaner, easy care lambing.
Note: 5 ewes showing small ewe horn.
This lot represents a great cash flow opportunity with 6 month skin and SIL at 138%, and are ideally suited to the restocker/breeder to take home now and acclimatise before lambing down in July, rejoin to ram of choice and shear in Nov.
