Assessor Comments
These ewes are July through to September 2020 drop and are out of Trafalgar ewes and Talbragar Border Leicester ram bloodlines. The ewes have been vaccinated with 5 in 1, had a drench and are up to date with vitamins A, D and E. 125 head were weighed with a range of 37 kg through to 64kg, and averaged 48.8 kg at assessment after a 24 hour curfew. Only 7 head of the assessed ewes weighed less than 45 kgs. The different coloured management tags are only a family ownership breakup, genuine young ewes. Have been joined to quality Avondale Poll Dorset stud rams and scanned as 136% in lamb on the 13/5/21. A great opportunity to secure a line of mostly even ewes that show excellent quality with good frame. These ewes will compliment any cross breeding operation. There is the odd black spot on ears and eyes however none observed in wool.
