An outstanding line of young commercial ewes out of the Dalveen stud which are the annual sale of surplus to requirements. April/May 2022 drops. They present as mainly large frames in very forward to fat conditon, and are showing the benefits of a very good start to the season. These ewes are on a rapidly rising plane of nutrition and will prove to be a very good long term investment for the discerning producer. The majority of these are fat score 3's and 4's, with the odd 5. They were shorn on the 1st August, and are seed and burr free. They will present as 0 and 2 teeth. There has been a small tail drafted out of the bottom end.
These ewes are an outstanding example of the Dalveen Stud's aim of producing the ideal dual purpose sheep, to suit the meat trade, with the bonus of a quality wool clip on the back.
The property is OJD MN2 and brucellosis free accredited.
