Assessor Comments
An attractive line of very well bred, station mated Suffolk ewes, faithfully joined to 2 top quality KURRAVIEW Suffolk rams. These Aug/Sept '24 drop maiden ewes are exhibiting excellent weight & growth rates, as well as demonstrating very good carcass shape & conformation. Big, heavy boned ewes boasting impressive body length & depth, these ewes are in optimum condition & maturity to have successfully joined, given the 8 week access to a high % of rams & the ideal seasonal window for which the breed prefers to conceive. These ewes offer an opportunity to retain the ewe portion progeny, as future breeders in a self-replacing flock, whilst producing a quality wether portion with excellent carcass traits & weight yield potential. An ideal mob for smaller producers seeking quality over quantity, or a progressive producer who recognises the potential for breeding future sires capable of producing progeny with increased IMF & LMY attributes, which are currently commanding premium hook rates.
