This is a draft of the Nareen Station bred ewes 2 year old ewes (2 x 290 run out gate), offered in the Nareen Station Annual Production Sale. Nareen Station aims to breed sheep which are highly productive and easy care. The breeding objectives in the commercial flock are to have adult sheep which are 18-19 micron and capable of cutting large quantities of white, bright, stylish wool whilst retaining size and reproductive performance on plain bodied sheep.
They are ideal sheep to purchase for any wool operation, and have good size and structure for any cross breeding operation. All sheep in this assessment have been treated with Avenge-please note that this is a precautionary treatment and a practice taken out on all ewes in the Nareen Station Annual Production Sale.

Stock History
These sheep are bred on Nareen using Barrama genetics. They were trucked to one of the vendors properties in the autumn where they were the only sheep on the property and flourished with the season, then trucked off shears to Nareen for the spring.
Bloodlines
Each year the surplus 2 year old ewes on the property are grown out for the Annual Production Sale on Auctionsplus.
Grazing Conditions
These sheep are grazing on improved clover, rye and phalaris based pastures.
