Assessor Comments
An opportunity to purchase a tidy line of SIL medium/large frame mixed age 2016/2017/2018 Drop Merino Ewes ex Reola Station. Scanned in lamb to Leahcim white Suffolk rams showing 45-100 days in lamb. Ewes are a line made up of purchased sheep from multiple vendors while restocking in the Spring of 2020. All Ewes were purchased from safe areas in WA - mainly from the wheat belt of the Kondinin/Condinin Region. Shorn in September and showing nice length of staple and quality of crimp as well as presenting in forward store condition, ewes are well placed to rear a healthy crossbred lamb and cut a nice fleece of wool. The mob presents as being predominantly older types with the sample showing 46 head x 2016 drop, 17 head x 2017 drop and 7 head x 2018 drop. Some black to white tags presenting as broken to worn teeth as shown in photos but in strong healthy condition. Nice sheep well worth consideration to add to any operation. *Note younger SIL ewes in the same sale.
