Assessor Comments
A great line of Dohne/Merino Ewe, 2016 drop, August Shorn, with 314 Ultra White Lambs at foot. There is 2 lines in this mob, 1st is 218 Valetta bred ewes which were purchased out of Cunnamulla as ewe lambs back in May 2017, these ewes are 80% Dohne/Dohne and 20% Dohne/Merino which are carrying 60mm on their back. The 2nd line of 81 ewes are Merino/Merino ridgeway Advance Blood and Yal Yal bred which are carrying 70 mm on their back. Both lots of ewes are August shorn and had Avenge at shearing. Ewes were joined to the Anden Ultra White Rams, these rams are in the top selection of Andens Flock. Ewes have been crutched and vaccinated with 6in1 on the 10/3/21, Lambs are still very fresh weighed 30 lambs which averaged 19kg. These lambs normally go to the supermarket trade early to mid july with only a small percentage that don't make it.
