Assessor Comments
An outstanding line of very well bred ewe lambs with a great reputation. These are a complete drop and joined with the intention of keeping, however seasonal pressure has meant they are now up for sale. Lambs are in a strong forward to prime condition and are well grown with good weight for age and displaying excellent depth and shape. They are shedding up nicely and come out of a flock with a majority clean skinned ewes. The Pudney’s have been in this breed for a long time and do an excellent job, with the wether lambs consistently reaching heavy weights and yields approaching 50% regularly. A brilliant way to make a start in shedding sheep or improve an established flock, they come with my highest recommendation.

Good % fully shedded already, full confidence a majority of the balance will shed nicely. Note: lambs are running in a paddock with reasonable amount of caltrop. No burrs seen at assessment, but high possibility of picking up some prior to delivery.
