Assessor Comments
Complete flock dispersal of shedding ewes off “Yilgah” station. This line represents the classed out ewes scanned at 133% in lamb and due to commence lambing from late April to Kaya Dorper, white Dorper and Pioneer White suffolk sires. SIL on the 17/03 with the drys removed and sold - certificate available. Approx 90% are 3 years of age with the balance rising 4-5 years. These ewes have years of production left on offer and are presenting in ideal lambing condition after a very tight 12 months. 5 ewes have lambs at foot (2-3 weeks old) sired by a shedding ram - scanner confirmed no more out of season lambs were detected. Delivery window is 08-11/04 to reduce any unnecessary stress on pregnant ewes with 48 hrs notice required. There is approx 3 marks plus vendor bred ewes in the line as ewes were purchased in to start a shedding flock. These ewes were classed out due to their higher content of wool. They would still suit a shedding operarion.Offering another line of ewes in todays sale.
