Assessor Comments
The Brynton ewes are strong and healthy doing a excellent job on their lambs, they were running in a mob of 700 plus for joining then scanned and split in half for lambing ease into 2 paddocks. The property has then been sold after the ewes had lambed, therefore ewes couldn't be sold in age groups. These are the early lambing ewes from Brynton Pty Ltd, they have lambed out well and been thru to remove any dry ewes. In this lot there are 41 2017 drop ewes, 197 2018 drop ewes, 88 2020 drop ewes, please note there is 4-6 younger ewes with only 20 mm of skin and 3 ewes with fly strike scaring. These ewes are doing an excellent job rearing their lambs and given good feed should go on to have lambs ready for the early sucker market. 336 mixed age Merino ewes with 312 marked poll dorset lambs at foot. Note Vendor has another lot of ewes and lambs in this sale.
